The Montrose High School 4A Boys Soccer Team earns State Academic Team Championship

Montrose, Colorado. According to Lyle Wright, MHS Activities Director, the 2005 Montrose High School Boys Soccer team has been named the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) State 4A Team Academic Champions.

According to Mr. Wright, “This is the second year in a row that these student athletes have earned this very prestigious award, and signifies the high caliber of students at this school. The combined grade point averages of varsity teams across the state were submitted. Montrose High earned the top spot with an average GPA of 3.49. Not only are these high achieving academic students, they are tremendous athletes ~ their win/loss record this year was 15-3.”
