Harvey Starbuck Named Regional Coach of the Year

Montrose, Colorado. Olathe High School Wrestling Coach, Harvey Starbuck has been selected as the Southwest Sectional Coach of the Year for the sport of wrestling. The Southwest section includes the states of Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. As the Southwest sectional winner Harvey is automatically a finalist for the national coach of the year in the sport of wrestling.

Harvey has coached for 30 years, 24 of which have been in Olathe. During his last twelve years as head coach, OHS has had six state champions and 32 state placers. Last year, Harvey’s wrestlers earned the Colorado 3A Wrestling Championship.
