Box Tops and Labels
Dear Parents of Cottonwood Elementary,
As Cottonwood’s volunteer coordinators for Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Labels for Education we would like to introduce you to the annual fundraiser for the students of Cottonwood. This fundraiser is as easy as shopping and saving labels, and requires no money out of pocket to participate. Last year Cottonwood raised almost $1,000 by saving General Mills Box Tops, shopping online and using the Box Tops Visa card. The cash raised went into the PAC’s general fund to help purchase supplies and equipment requested by the teachers. The 16,996 Campbell’s Labels that we have accumulated will be used by the Phys. Ed. Department to purchase a variety of equipment.
Here are 5 simple ways you can help this year:
1) Clip GM Box Tops from hundreds of participating products. (See attached list of products) Box Tops are worth 10¢ when our school redeems them.
****Look for the double & triple Box Tops on products for a limited time only****
2) Shop your favorite online stores at the Box Tops Marketplace. Up to 8% of each qualifying purchase is donated to our school. When making purchases online go to www.boxtops4education.com and select the Box Tops Marketplace. This allows you to access your favorite merchants, make your purchase, and Cottonwood earns a direct rebate percentage of your purchase. (See attached list of participating merchants)
3) Save Campbell’s labels, UPC codes, and lids from Campbell’s soup products, Franco American, Pepperidge Farm, Swanson, V8 and Prego. (See attached list of products and which part of the label to save)
4) Be sure to save Tyson A+ Project labels. These are worth 24¢ a piece!
5) Other – Please designate your City Market Value Card to Cottonwood Elementary. Take advantage of Safeway’s Back to School Program, on products throughout the store. It ends on Sept 4th. Office Depot donates 5% back to schools - designate Cottonwood. When opening your new Target credit card, remember Target donates 1% of purchases to schools with their Take Charge of Education Program at www.target.com. Designate Cottonwood (school ID #111177).
If you are not already saving Box Tops & Labels please start now! Send Box Tops, Labels and Safeway’s Back to School vouchers with your child to school and they can deposit them in the classroom collection bin. We will be having a class contest again this year to see which class collects the most Box Tops & Labels. The first of two contests will end on December 21st. The classroom with the most redeemable Box Tops and Labels will get a Pizza Party.
The goal for this school year is to reach $1,200 in Box Tops alone! If everyone pitches in we know Cottonwood can do it!!
