Do you have books your children have outgrown? Bring them to Cottonwood! Please donate your gently used elementary-level books to Cottonwood so that we can expand our resources for helping students improve their reading! There is a white bin for donated books next to the office. For more information, please contact Mary Boyers at maryboyers@hotmail.com.

Next PAC Meeting - Tuesday, January 19, 2010 - Come for some social time at 6:30pm. Remember that your kids are welcome too!

What is the Cottonwood Parent Action Council?
The Cottonwood PAC is an self-sufficient school organization comprised of parents, teachers and administrators. Our purpose is to aid and enhance our children's education.
The Cottonwood PAC:
-
holds an annual Winter Festival for students and their families;
-
recruits and supports room parents so each teacher has a room parent to help with communication and organization of parties and special events; and
-
raises money through an annual fundraising event in the fall and then using that money to fund requests from teachers and parents in the form of mini-grants.
All parents are encouraged to attend. Child care is provided. In addition to present and past business, Dr. Tomlin will be there to bring us up to date with what is going on at the school and in the district.
Meeting Dates for 2009-2010
Meetings start promptly at 7pm. There is a social time from 6:30-7:00pm.. Meetings are in the library.
