8:00 class begins!  We do a daily practice sheet - read the morning message and do calendar activities.

8:30  Reading Express - kids go to their group for reading instruction and practice.

10:00 Recess

10:10 Writer's Workshop - The authors/illustrators in our class are busy learning how to become great writers.  We start with a mini lesson and then write, write, write.

11:05  Lunch and recess

12:00  Show and Tell time, followed by fluency practice and finally I read a great book to them!

12:30  Specials Classes   Mon -PE  Tues - Library  Wed - Music  Thurs - PE  Friday - Computer

            (we also have art on Thursday at 2:10)

1:15   Science and Social Studies

1:40  Recess

1:50  Math Exploration and practice.

3:00 Time to go home.

Wednesday schedule ends at 2:05 for early release ......
