Parents/Students:  You can now view your fourth quarter midterm grades on Parent Portal.

 

Yearbooks

If you have not yet purchased a yearbook, the deadline has been extended until May 5.  The cost of a yearbook is $60.

 

Carwash

¡Vamos a Peru! The MHS Spanish Club is having a FREE carwash this Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 to 2:00 in the parking lot on Townsend. We’ll also be selling baked goods and refreshments, so come hungry. Donations will be greatly appreciated.

 

Free Movie Night

It is time again for our movie night!  It will be Saturday April 26th 7:00-10:00 pm at the United Methodist Church, located at 19 S. Park Ave.  Our movie this month is "The Mighty". A story about the quest for friendship and that courage comes in all sizes.  This is "FREE" and there will be popcorn and soda.  The movie night is open to the community youth in 6th-12th grades.  For more information call 249-3716.

Sgt. Snyder with the National Guard will be visiting our school on Tuesday, April 29th in the front lobby during A and B lunches.  If you are interested in learning more about the National Guard, please plan on attending.

 

Sgt. Williams with the Marines will visit our school on Friday May 2nd in the front lobby during both lunch periods.  If you would like more information regarding a career with the Marines, please plan on stopping by.

 

Seniors:  Please notify the Guidance Office of any scholarship offers you receive, whether you accept them or not.

 

The University of Colorado at Boulder is sponsoring their annual Business Leadership Program.  Applications are available in the guidance office or at http://leeds.colorado.edu/diversity/programs.

 

The 2008 STARS National Conference sponsored by Friends First will be held at Colorado State University.  The Guidance Office has registration information.

 

The Western Colorado AHEC Summer Health Careers Institute is accepting applications.  This is a good opportunity for students who enjoy math and science and are interested in related careers.  The guidance office has applications.

 

Interested in earning some college credits over the summer?  The guidance office has information on summer college programs.
