By your child's fourth birthday he/she should be able to do the following:
 
  • Climb on playground equipment
  • Steer and pedal a trike
  • Throw and catch a ball
  • Work on a 7 piece puzzle
  • Play with other children
  • Give first and last name
  • Tell a story
  • Count to 4
  • Ask questions
  • Copy a circle and a cross (+)
  • Hop on one foot
