By your child's third birthday he/she should be able to do the following:
 
  • Run forward well
  • Jump up and down repeatedly
  • Build a tower of blocks
  • Match colors
  • Give one or two objects on request
  • Use 3-4 word sentences
  • Understand in, on, under
