What are Web Lockers?

School Web Lockers is an internet service that provides personal storage, homework directories, and collaboration tools.  It is a place where you can go to upload your own assignments for storage in your own individual folders and find and download documents that are used in class.  Web Lockers are available for middle and high school students starting the 2008-2009 school year.

Why are we using web lockers?

The Montrose County School District is providing this service to:

  • decrease the spread of computer viruses.

  • increase file storage for the school district.
  • allow middle and high school students to complete projects at home and submit their work to their teacher via the internet.

How do you use web lockers?

Using your home computer:

  • Go to mcsd.schoolweblockers.com on the internet and type in your username and password. Student username and password information will be provided by their school.
