Student Council Is Coming

Grades 1-5

Is your child interested in running for Student Council?  Please talk with your child about being a part of Pomona Elementary Student Council through officer positions, class representatives and taking an active role as a student body member.  This is an opportunity for students to share ideas, make a difference and be a leader.  If your child runs for an officer position or classroom representative, he/she will complete and turn in a Letter of Intent, prepare and present a speech and make posters for his/her campaign.  If your child is voted into one of the positions, he/she will meet twice a month on Tuesday mornings before school from 7:30-8:00 in Kathy Hilding’s classroom.  Your child will also commit to devoting time additional time for Student Council events.  Student Council officers and representatives should value Pomona PAWSPractice respect; Accept responsibility; Work hard; and Be safe!
