• Check-ins and Crisis Support: Support for your child’s emotional well-being and immediate help during a family emergency.
• Resource Connection: Help finding essential items like food, clothing, housing, transportation, and vision care. We connect you to resources outside the school.
• Home Visits: When a visit helps better understand your child’s needs or get them back to school.
• Student Groups: Facilitating groups (with permission) focused on skills like friendship, managing emotions, and coping.

Our social workers partner with school staff to ensure your child has the best learning environment possible: 

• Student Success Planning: Working closely with teachers and administrators to follow up on concerns, address barriers, and create plans for student success.

We help bridge the gap between school and the wider community:

• Connecting with Agencies: Communicating with outside organizations (like mental health providers or social services) to coordinate comprehensive support (always with your permission).
• Up to Date Resource List: Maintaining current information on helpful community programs and services available to you and your family.
