At the start of the school year, Montrose County School District (MCSD) projected that free school meals for all students would remain through September 30th. However, we have recently been notified that free school meals for all will discontinue on September 6th. The pre-pandemic eligibility has not changed and families that previously received this benefit will continue to be eligible.School Meals accounts will begin requiring payment on Tuesday September 6th and all MCSD schools will return to the same pre-pandemic Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) system for school meals.Sign up via Parent portal or by obtaining an application from your child's school if you think your family is elegible for free or reduced meals.
