1st Semester flew by! I can't believe it is 2023! We have lots of fun plans for our Engagement Center students during second semester.
January 19th - Escape Room in Grand Junction and out to lunch at a sit down restaurant. We will work on team building and manners.
February 16 - Ranger led snowshoe at Black Canyon National Park. Students will need snow boots and warm clothing. Learn about how animals and plants survive the winter.
March 9 - Hiking/Geocaching at Ridgway State Park. Dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Geocaching is similar to a treasure hunt and a lot of fun!
April 7 - Fishing at Ridgway State Park. We will learn how to fly fish. Dress for the weather. If weather is nice, we may get to paddle board too.
May 16 - 8th grade students only. Rafting down the Gunnison River. Students participate in a unique and meaning fun river education experience through the Colorado Canyons Association.
