The Early Childhood Centers' Policy Council helps guide the agency and ensure program decisions are responsive to program needs. The Policy Council and the Governing Board work in collaboration to monitor all aspects of the Montrose County School District RE-1J Early Childhood Centers program. Policy Council is comprised of 51% parents of currently enrolled Head Start children and 49% other ECC preschool parents and community members.
Policy Council currently meets the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm at the MCSD School District Office or via Zoom (we are offering both options; with in-person having childcare available with prior notice).
