Melissa Trujillo
The 2020-21 school year begins my 16th year with Montrose County Schools and working in the Gifted and Talented Program. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in Differentiated Instruction, and hold a Gifted and Talented Education Endorsement. I've been teaching for over 24 years including grades K-5 regular classroom instruction as well as art. I lead GT groups and support advanced students in the regular classroom through collaboration with 3rd-5th grades at Northside, Oak Grove and Pomona Elementary Schools. I have been married for 25 years and have triplets attending colleges in Flagstaff, AZ, Springfield, MO, and Nashville, TN. We enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking, camping, fishing and skiing.
