The Montrose County School District Communications Department is led by Public Information Officer, Matt Jenkins, and is responsible for school district public relations, communications, messaging, media, and related operations.
Originally from the Tennessee Valley, Matt Jenkins is in his second decade working for Montrose County Schools having relocated to the Western Slope in 2010. He earned Bachelor's Degrees from Western State College in both Business and English, and a Master's Degree in Media Studies from Arizona State University. A former Montrose High School teacher and District Office Coordinator, Jenkins is excited to spread the word about all the incredible happenings in Montrose County Schools!
