STEM:
Oak Grove is working towards implementation of a STEM experience for students. Our first year of full implementation will be 2018-2019. In MCSD, students will explore STEM through Problem Based Learning, which emphasizes creative problem solving using all areas of knowledge and curriculum. During the implementation phase we are laying building a foundation for STEM with our students. The foundation for our work includes cooperative learning, aligned science and math curriculum, technology as a tool for teaching and learning, and an introduction to engineering principles.
